Notes:                        The Santa CNZ Metropolitan Transit District ("METRO") is seeking bids for the construction of a Bus Turnaround and Related Site Work consisting of a Fueling and Servicing Facility and related site work. This project involves the construction of a reinforced concrete slab over compacted base rock and sub grade to be used as a bus turnaround area at the intersection of China Grade Road and Highway 236. The work will also involve the removal and reconstruction

of portions of Highway 236 and China Grade Road pavement sections, the installation of signage, re-striping Highway 236 in like kind, selective tree trimming and minor grading of a roadside swale and areas surrounding the turnout. Such other items or details, not mentioned above, which are required by the plans, Standard Specifications, or these special provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed. The work shall include without limitation the

furnishing of all supervision, labor, freight, transportation, materials, equipment, supplies, services, tools, installation, overhead, packing, cartage, insurance, license, fees, taxes, permits, bonds, inspections and other work on a fixed price basis as defined in the METRO's Invitation for Bids (IFB), No. 08-07 Bus Turnaround and Related Site Work and the Construction Drawings. Engineer's Estimate: $71,000.
